A number of individuals and organizations have come forward to offer money towards the reward.  We will print the full list of contributors as soon as we have it.  The Ash Creek Conservation Association has pledged $500 towards the reward to the first person whose information leads the police to the arrest and conviction of the person who committed the environmental crime of girding 15 sycamore trees at St. Mary's-by-the-Sea park.  This is in addition to the $500 contributed by various residents yesterday.  The Black Rock Garden Club is organizing the donations for the reward.  If you have any information that may be of value, please contact the Police Department.
