The City of Bridgeport completed its physical assessment of properties and has published the results on www.visionappraisal.com .  You'll need to register to access the site, but all that is required is your e-mail and creation of a password.

Don't panic if you see the new assessment is much higher than the old assessment as the new mill rate has not yet been set.  Your taxes are a function of the mill rate and your property assessment.  The new mill rate will be set in May after the budget has been approved in April.  You will see the new tax amount in your July 1, 2009 bill.

The physical revaluation amount is based upon what the tax assessor believed your home was worth on October 1, 2008 based on adjustments to comparable recent sales in your area.
