CANDIDATE FORUM QUESTIONS:

Introduction by each Candidate (Two minutes each)

Response to three BRHA questions below provided one week before meeting (Two minutes each-Each question shall be answered by all speakers before proceeding to the next question)

Question 1: In Bridgeport, the Mayor and his staff prepare a Budget document and present it to the City Council whose committees review parts of the document and finally vote on it. The public had one Friday evening session to be heard last year. What provisions and/or changes to the public listening, speaking and information access process, if any, will you advocate, if elected?

Question 2: A new Black Rock RR Station in Fairfield has received approvals. Fairfield Avenue entertainment venues are expanding and additional economic development is likely. If Fairfield Avenue and Brewster Street are the “Gateways To Black Rock”, what is your vision for the future of the Avenue?

Question 3: As a Black Rock’er what issue personally seems most significant to you for the people of our neighborhood? Why? What will you do to address the issues as a Councilperson?

Written Questions from the audience submitted to the moderator will be offered to the candidates for response as time permits.
