You may know the game as Cornhole or Bag-O and have seen it played in stadium parking lots before a football game or at a neighborhood BBQ. It is huge in many parts of the country and has become very popular in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport where Burroughs is located.
St. Ann's Lobsterfest fundraiser is fun for the whole family with music, face painting, pinata, and, of course, great food! Saturday, August 8 from 3 PM to 9 PM at the SS Norden Club, 4 Seabright Avenue in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport. Food served from 3 PM to 8 PM. Tickets can be purchased at St. Ann's Rectory at 481 Brewster Street or at Harborview Market at 218 Harborview Avenue. Adults: $25 Children: $5.
