April 24, 2008 by admin commentAs in the rest of Fairfield County, number of units sold in Black Rock has slowed down. At this time last year 9 single family homes had closed between 1/1/07 and 3/31/08, whereas only 5 single family homes closed during the first quarter of 2008. The inventory of homes for sale in Black Rock remains low, so prices have not been under as much pressure as elsewhere in Bridgeport or even Fairfield. In fact, we just recorded a new high for the sales price of a home on Ellsworth Street of $590,00 for 189 Ellsworth Street. The median price in Q1 2008 for a single family home was $317,500
