This meeting is being sponsored by the Greater Fairfield County Property Owners Association, Inc. and will focus on property taxes and the city budget. A large turnout will indicate that we have concerns about these issues.

The Bridgeport fireworks at Seaside Park are scheduled for Friday, June 27 at 9:15 PM (rain date is Sunday). Music will be simulcast on STAR 99.9 FM. The Bridgeport fireworks are visible from the shoreline from the Black Rock Yacht Club to Captain's Cove, but not along St. Mary's. The Fairfield fireworks, which are set from a barge off Penfield Beach are visible from St.

The Black Rock Community Council is sponsoring its 2nd Annual Walking Tour of Fayerweather Island
with local historian Charles Brilvitch and landscape architect
Stuart Sachs on Sunday, April 13. The tour leaves at 1:00 PM from the breakwater
leading to Fayerweather Island and is free for members and $5.00
