NYT Article on Bridgeport
April 24, 2007 by Gail Robinson comment
A few weeks ago, a NYT reporter, Jane Gordon, called to ask me a few questions about Bridgeport from a real estate investment standpoint. The resulting article is quite positive about Bridgeport and reinforces recent articles in CNN Money and the Wall Street Journal, which have created the oft quoted "63% rise in value in five years". Perception creates reality and my husband, Bill, who is in commercial real estate has seen an influx of investors looking for up to $10 million in property. I've also fielded calls from investors looking for multifamily properties as a result of that article. I expect that this very positive article will bring more investors and businesses to Bridgeport.
If you haven't done so, you'll want to read the New York Times article, which was in Sunday's paper on April 22, 2007.
