Aspetuck Land Trust will sponsor a Shore bird hike this Thursday, August 19 from 6-8pm at their Great Salt Marsh Island Preserve in Ash Creek. This hike will be led by bird expert Milan Bull from the CT Audubon Society.

Attached is background information on this unique preserve, so you can read up on the history and flora and fauna of this area before the hike.

Walk with Harold & Friends is back!  Join us Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010, at the St. Mary's-by-the-Sea beach in Black Rock, CT. Noon registration, 12:30 walk time. Dog fair booths until 3.  Walk with your dog for one mile along scenic St. Mary's-by-the-Sea to benefit Milford Hospital's cancer education programs and the Bridgeport animal shelter.  Vendors, prizes for top dogs, food and refreshments and more.  T-shirt for the first 200 entries.
