Black Rock Train Station Update
April 15, 2007 by Gail Robinson comment
Work on the Black Rock train station, which will be part of the Fairfield Metro Center is expected to begin in January 2008 (according to an article in the CT Post 4/26) starting with remediation of the shoreline from the area across from Fox Street to Warshaw (the last street on the right off Fairfield Avenue before you get to the Ash Creek bridge). Also, the shape and size of some of the buildings has been changed. There will be fewer curved buildings and more linear buildings. The renderings in the photos will not likely be the same as the final version. We will put up new photos as they are available.
