Black Rock Day Schedule of Events   Sunday, June 8th 8:00-11:00 Black Rock Day Buffet Style Breakfast to be held at the S.S. Norden Club. All are welcome. 

7:30-9:00 Black Rock Day Road Race registration at the Norden Club

9:00  Annual 5K Run for the Rock Road Race at Ellsworth Field The First Annual Black Rock Day Bed Race Immediately Preceding the Parade beginningat Mountford and Gilman(Flyer with details to follow) 12:00 The Black Rock Day Parade -Starts at the Burroughs Community Center. This year's theme is "Black Rock- A Community for All Seasons" and will feature representations and scenes from our community calendar. Any member who can lend their creativity and artistic ability with this effort is asked to contact Parade Chair Mike Casey at mcasey@sfamarketing.com.  The Black Rock Day Festivities will take placeimmediately following the parade at Ellsworth Field and feature presentations from the Connecticut Alumni and Park City Pride Drum & Bugle Corps and music from What Up Funk, (www.whatupfunk.com) aswell as food from local  restaurants, and kids’ activities including pony rides, face painting, and more. Admission to the event s $3.00 per adult, $1.00 for seniors and free for children 12 and under.

And very importantly, please see attached Program Ad Form for participation in our program book. It is this support that makes Black Rock Day possible. I would ask everyone to consider at least becoming a booster for this day by making a ten dollar donation.
