Beach Grass Planting Volunteers Needed
October 17, 2008 by admin commentThe Ash Creek Conservation Association is beginning replanting of sea grass on the sand spit adjacent to the entrance to Ash Creek. This is in cooperation with the town of Fairfield. We have 10,000 sea grass "plugs" needing to be planted and really need some help. Please meet at the beach at St. Mary's at 9:00 AM, Saturday, October 25.
Students can earn service points for this work as ACCA is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. Thank You, John Gibson 203-610-5176
